WANA (Jan 30) – Iran’s First Vice President, Mohammad Reza Aref, met with Kazakhstan’s Prime Minister on Thursday during his visit to the country to attend the Eurasian Summit.

 

During the meeting, Aref highlighted the cultural and historical ties between the two nations and emphasized the need to enhance economic and trade cooperation. He also called for a more active role for joint commissions to strengthen bilateral relations.

 

The Iranian official invited Kazakhstan’s Prime Minister to participate in the Caspian Summit, scheduled to take place in Tehran in late February, stressing the potential for expanding cooperation in cultural and tourism sectors.

 

Aref further underscored Iran’s information technology advancements, expressing its willingness to share its expertise in emerging technologies with neighboring nations.

 

For his part, Kazakhstan’s Prime Minister congratulated Iran on the anniversary of the Islamic Revolution and reaffirmed his country’s commitment to strengthening joint commissions to bolster ties between the two nations.
